Former Fox Engine Lead Is Certain that Hideo Kojima’s Next Project Will Be “Extraordinary”

During a conference held at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris, that DualShockers attended, former Fox Engine Lead Julien Merceron (who was just appointed Technology Director at Bandai Namco) talked about Hideo Kojima’s new endeavor with the new Kojima Productions.

He explained that he’d like to work with Hideo Kojima again at some point, even if it’s not currently on the agenda. He has many ideas on his own, so he’ll start with those, and then he’ll see what happens.

That said, Merceron mentioned that he’s certain that Kojima-san’s next project will be “extraordinary.”

Considering Mercercon’s critical contribution to the creation of Fox Engine, I’d love to see him working with Hideo Kojima again, but it’s nice to hear his confidence in the next project of the creator of Metal Gear Solid.

The Video Game masterclass event in Paris was organized by Jeux Vidéo Magazine and Cité des Sciences.
