Former Naughty Dog Narrative Lead Talks Directing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Story

Taylor Kurosaki worked at Naughty Dog for ten years, taking care of conveying the sytorytelling of the studio’s games as Narrative Lead. A little over two years ago, he moved to Infinity Ward  to take up a new challenge as Narrative Director on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

In the video below, filmed by the British retail chain Game, he talks about the experience, how the game’s cast worked together for over a year of performance capture, and more.

What I’ve seen of the story of the game definitely feels a step above previous Call of Duty games. We’ll have to wait until November 4th to see if it’ll deliver the goods.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
