In the latest issue of Jump magazine, it was revealed that Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, Android 16, and Android 18 will be playable in the upcoming fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ.

While information is limited for the newly revealed Saiyans and androids, Android 18 will have a special combo attack with Android 17. However, whether Android 17 is playable is still unknown.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will also feature a What If story mode. This "super high-end anime" story mode will feature Android 16 in an alternate scenario where he is revived, and attacks the Super Warriors.

In addition to the What If story mode, an online 3v3 party match mode was revealed. The multiplayer mode will pin two groups of three players against each other, and allow the players to switch out in real time.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a fighting game based on the well-known Dragon Ball anime. Developed by Guilty Gear Xrd developer Arc System Works and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Dragon Ball FighterZ will feature 3 vs. 3 battles across different landscapes featured in the anime. The newly revealed fighters will also be accompanied by fan favorites such as Cell, Frieza, Majin Buu, and my personal favorite, Trunks.

Dragon Ball FighterZ was announced at E3 this year alongside an awesome trailer. It is expected to release next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Players interested in the game can sign up for the closed beta on August 22nd. Those who are lucky enough to be selected will be able to play on September 16 and 17 depending on where you live.
