Mortal Kombat X released this past April to great critical praise and sale, with the months after the game’s debut bringing characters such as Tremor, Tanya, Jason Voorhees, and The Predator to the fold: luckily, more will be joining the pack next year.
Warner Bros. and series creator Ed Boon revealed that new DLC characters will be coming to Mortal Kombat X in 2016, with a teaser image showing four silhouetted characters leaving plenty of opportunity to speculate on who the new additions may be.
Previously the game released with the “Kombat Pack,” a Season Pass containing all of the DLC characters made available to players as they released, with the news indicating that another similar pack may be available, with the characters to begin releasing in the first half of 2016.
Mortal Kombat X is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android – the previously-announced PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game have since been cancelled.
