The next Maxim-sponsored Gears of War: Judgment downloadable content has been revealed. You will be able to download the new multiplayer Dreadnought map for free beginning May 15^th. However, it must be noted this is a “limited time” offer.

The map will become playable in Gears of War: Judgment’s overrun mode.

Dreadnought is centered on the CNV Pomeroy, the naval vessel where the COPG transported captured Locust Berserkers in the months leading up to Emergence Day. Of course, things went downhill from there.

The map's description reads,

Little did they know that the Locust had waterborne beasts from the underground rivers of the Hollow, or that the Locust soldiers would use them so relentlessly to rescue the captured Berserkers. The Pomeroy was corralled into a narrow channel and forced ashore, where the Locust sent a mass of troops to assault and overwhelm the beached vessel.

The previous Gears of War Judgment free DLC came in the form of Execution mode and the multiplayer maps Haven and Capitol.
