Happy birthday to Sony Online Entertainment’s free-to-play MMO, Free Realms.  The game that has a squirrel with a blue Mohawk for its mascot celebrates three years online with a dance party and a giant cake monster.

I suppose out of all the ways to go, being smashed by a delicious giant cake will be up there in my top ten. As a special gift, all players logging in for the event will be rewarded with a free birthday hat. The cash shop has also been updated with some new birthday-themed items and furniture, including a piñata pet. Check out the screenshots and video for the event after the cut.
