Free Terraria PS4 Theme Available on the Japanese PSN; Screenshots and Download Instructions Inside

If you love Terraria, and want to adorn your PS4 with a dedicated theme, now you can, and it’s even free. The process to get it is a little convoluted, but we gotta earn our treats somehow.

Basically, the theme is linked to the Japanese demo of the game. In order to get the theme, you need to download the demo.

Of course, you’ll need a Japanese PSN account (you can find a good guide here), then you need to find the demo on the PlayStation Store.

It’s here on the web store (make sure you’re logged off your western account, or the link won’t work). Otherwise, on your PS4, go to ゲーム, then to 体験版, select the DualShock silouhette and you’ll find the demo in the next screen.

Once downloaded, you can go to Settings -> Themes -> Find in PlayStation Store, and you’ll be able to download the theme as usual. After downloading the theme on your PS4’s hard disk drive, it’s yours to use with any account, including your western ones.

The demo comes with its custom music, and if you want to see whether it’s worth the process or not, you can check out a couple screenies above and below.
