Bringing back an iconic face from the 80s, Friday the 13th: The Game brought slasher movie-inspired multiplayer to consoles and PCs earlier this year, with the title officially set to invade retail stores later this year on an incredibly appropriate date.

Publisher Gun Media announced that Friday the 13th: The Game will have a physical release on Friday, October 13th, 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One. Along with providing a retail copy of the game to stores, the physical edition of the game will also come packed in with a special Bloody Jason skin, and a Counselor Clothing Pack that features additional clothing items for each of the game's camp counselors.

The retail edition of the game will sell for $39.99 like the digital release of the game, and pre-orders for the retail edition are available now at several retailers, including Amazon.

Friday the 13th: The Game is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC digitally, with the game's retail edition to arrive on October 13th, 2017.
