With their newly released tech demo, developer Frogwares and publisher Focus Home Interactive show off how Crimes and Punishments–Frogwares newest Sherlock Holmes game–runs on the Unreal Engine 3.

The trailer, which you can view below, shows off how the new environments look with Epic Game’s Unreal Engine. The change was made from Frogwares’ homemade engine to create bigger environments that are more gorgeous, varied and detailed, and to expand on limitations in the previous engine’s mechanics to make Holmes’ infamous investigative skills even more intuitive.

More details will be explained at this years E3.
