From Zero to Hero

After hearing news that the last two characters for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars will be Joe the Condor (no idea who that is) and Zero, I cannot help but leap for joy. As most of us try not to remember, Zero’s last go around in the Capcom vs. series was in  SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos. In that game I could not help, but feel as though it was a huge missed opportunity. Zero being such an awesome and cool character being wasted in such a mediocre fighter. Now Zero has a chance to redeem himself. Take a look at the screenshots down below.

The 5 year difference is outstanding! Albeit the SVC Chaos screenshot is unfairly represented because of the quality, it seriously isn’t much better. And we’re talking Wii game compared to late generation Xbox and PS2 games. There should not be much of a difference. Oh and the image is exactly what the gameplay was for SVC Chaos, annoying. The point I’m trying to make here is… thank you Capcom for the new characters and thank you for Zero, who can now have his chance to shine in a popular, not-overlooked, cool, fun, awesome, fun, cool game.
