Japanese developer Frontwing will be releasing Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol 1 and Vol 2 worldwide on April 28. The visual novel is a continuation of the Grisaia seres, the studio's most popular title in the west.

However, with the title being all-ages only, some fans might have been wondering when the studio was going to return to adding adult content to their games. Well, the wait might not be too long now.

In an interview with DualShockers, we asked Frontwing president Ryuichiro Yamakawa if the studio had any new IP that they were planning now that their most recent title, Corona Blossom, had ended. Yamakawa-san replied, "We're working on a very adult-oriented game for our next title".

Furthermore, the president added that they are planning a simultaneous English release for the unannounced game.

In regards to Corona Blossom's three part release and how Frontwing handled the game's adult version, the publisher used individual Indiegogo campaigns to create physical merchandise for western fans. Additionally, they removed all mosaics in the adult versions for Vol 2 and Vol 3, after receiving a large demand to do so from western fans.

This is currently a debate within the visual novel community for publishers to remove the mosaics from the 18+ versions of game's when they are localized. However, approval for the removal seems to be granted on a case by case basis and is never guaranteed.

We'll be sure to keep you updated on the new project as more information is delivered, and stay tuned for the full interview where we discuss Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol 1 and Vol 2's development and bringing Japanese visual novels west.
