Halfbrick has announced today that its downloadable title Fruit Ninja Kinect has been doing very well on Xbox Live. It has recently cleared one million total downloads, which sounds like a staggering amount. The sales aren't surprising considering this is a port of the perennially popular Fruit Ninja we're talking about.

This is great news not only for the developers but for the fans as well; sales like that practically promise some sort of sequel. Or maybe the game will expand to even more platforms. It seems like it would make a wonderful port to the Nintendo DS. Halfbrick will also be showing off its new game at some time this year and that should be exciting.
