Full ArcheAge Open Beta Cinematic Trailer Shows Betrayal, Sacrifice

on January 4, 2013 12:02 AM

A couple weeks ago XLGAMES released the Open Beta cinematic trailer of ArcheAge, or what we thought was the cinematic trailer. Turns out it was only the beginning of it. Now that the open beta has begun, going strongly with a full twenty servers open and people standing in queue to get in, the developer released the full cinematic trailer.

The video is definitely interesting, and looks quite spectacular, casting some interesting questions on the backstory of the game. We see former companions becoming enemies (or at least one of them?), and a priestess sacrificing herself to lead her people away from a catastrophe and into a promised land. What is it all about? I don’t have the slightest idea, but it definitely looks cool. You can enjoy the full trailer below and throw your own theories.
