In an AMA on reddit, David Braben from Frontier Development directly answered some fan questions about the game Elite Dangerous, specifically its Xbox One release. Fans have been able to enjoy the game via a preview program in the Xbox One store for a while now, but are hungry for the game’s full release.

Braben confirmed that the full launch of the game for Xbox One will be on October 6, 2015. He also mentioned that the “Horizon” expansion previously show on off for PC would be coming in the near future for Xbox One as well. However, he could not confirm details of any kind of season pass at this time, responding with a simple “don’t know yet” when asked. He also said that players would “probably” be able to transfer saves between the PC and Xbox One versions of the game.

Elite Dangerous currently retails for $44.99 on Steam.
