Full Sail Graduates Put Their Mark on the Old West!

Full Sail continues to roll out successful graduates in the gaming industry, and several have just seen to fruits of their labor manifest as one of the most-anticipated games of 2010. Red Dead Redemption is the latest game from Rockstar San Diego and five graduates helped make it happen.

John Diaz, Jason Knobler and Nicholas Zippman are Game Development graduates and worked on the game as a Mission Designer, Programmer and Game Designer, respectively. Corey Shay is a Recording Arts graduate and is a Senior Audio Programmer and David Finlay – a Computer Animation graduate – worked as an Environment Artist. Congratulations to the graduates, Rob Catto, Director of Game Studies at Full Sail University, and Full Sail University for showing that hard work and education can help create, what is going to be, one of the most successful games of the year.

What? You’ve never heard of Full Sail University? Well I could tell you all of the stuff about how they are a college and they are in Winter Park, FL and when they were founded – but instead, as a graduate, let me tell you something else. Everyone who has a passion to create games has to find their own path into the industry. For some, college is not the answer, but if it is, there is no better educational institute for Game Design then Full Sail University. At Full Sail you can learn how to create a game, from concept to creation, make industry connections and lifelong friends. If you are interested, you can visit the website at www.fullsail.edu.
