Tim Schafer’s beloved point-and-click adventure Full Throttle Remastered released earlier this year on PS4, PS Vita, and PC, and now it’s available on iOS for just $4.99.

Just like the latest Schafer gem Double Fine restored with Day of the Tentacle Remastered, players will be able to switch between the original and fully refreshed versions in Full Throttle Remastered. The app version also includes concept art and commentary by the game’s creators.

The LucasArts game has been updated for a modern audience by Double Fine Productions, with the gameplay kept intact alongside upgraded graphics and new audio.

In Full Throttle Remastered you play as Ben Throttle, the leader of the Polecats biker gang, who finds himself caught up in a story featuring motorcycles, mayhem, and murder. After the Polecats are duped into escorting the CEO of a motorcycle manufacturer into an ambush, resulting in the gang being framed for murder, Throttle must work to free his comrades and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The original Full Throttle launched back in 1995 and was highly regarded as one of Tim Schafer’s best’s original titles. Last year another one of his acclaimed adventure titles was re-released with Day of the Tentacle Remastered, exposing a whole new generation to the greatness of a bygone era which has, in some ways, made a comeback.
