A teaser site went live a few hours ago for a new 3DS RPG, The Alliance Alive. The game is being developed by FuRyu (Unchained Blades, The Legend of Legacy) and is set to release in Japan in the second quarter of 2017. At this point there's no word if it will receive an English localization.

The story is set in a land twisted into different areas by a distortion that's polluting the world. The player will switch between 9 playable characters and journey through different territories such as one assaulted by constant rainfall and another heated by the presence of an active volcano.

Screenshots and more information will appear on the game's site on October 20th. For now all we have to go on is a short video that plays in the background behind all the text which you can see played unhampered below. However, it won't be long until we get more information on this mysterious new JRPG.
