The Game Awards 2016 will be held on December 1st at 5:30 p.m. PT / 8:30 p.m. ET at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Tickets are available here.

The show will be available via free streaming on a plethora of platforms including — for the first time — on Twitter and Facebook Live. Further, the third annual Game Awards will be the first awards show livestreamed in virtual reality, via a partnership with NextVR.

Lastly, this year the show will be simulcast in China, the world’s biggest gaming market, via a partnership with Tencent. Usual platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, PlayStation Network, Steam, Xbox Live will also be livestreaming the show.

Another “The Game Awards Sale” has also been announced. This will allow for gamers to pick up select nominated games at a discount across PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and Steam.

Details on nominees, world premieres, presenters and musical performances will be released in the coming weeks before the show.
