on July 1, 2015 10:50 AM

With E3 2015 now two weeks behind us, we’ve now had the time to properly assess the hype and biggest “WOW” moments of this year’s event, with the annual Game Critics Awards giving their take on the best announcements and titles shown at E3 2015.

The Game Critics Awards 2015 have officially announced their Best of E3 Nominations list for 2015, broken down into a variety of categories based on genre, hardware/software, and of course, the illustrious “Best of Show” award. Looking at the full list, Star Wars: Battlefront takes the lead with five overall nominations, followed closely by Fallout 4 and Horizon: Zero Dawn with four nominations each.

Breaking it down by publisher, EA and Sony Computer Entertainment lead against other publishers taking 11 nominations each across all categories. By platform, the nominations broke down to 47 nominations for PS4, 46 for Xbox One, 34 for PC, and four for Wii U (multiplatform titles were counted in the appropriate tallies where needed).

A disclaimer on the Game Critics Awards page however does clarify that Deus Ex: Mankind DividedTom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and XCOM 2 were disqualified from nomination consideration due to not being playable during the judging period.
