Game Director Interview Showcases the God of War: Ascension Multiplayer, Comes Bearing Gifts For Beta Players

If you’re interested in the multiplayer aspect of God of War: Ascension you’re in luck, as the official PlayStation blog just published a video interview with Game Director Todd Papy, showing off some online battles and giving us the rundown of one of the major elements of the feature: the ability to devote oneself to one god between Zeus, Ares, Poseidon and Hades, in order to specialize our steroid-packed hero and customize his abilities and powers.

You’re in luck even if you are taking part in the multiplayer beta of the game. While you probably won’t see much that you haven’t already seen in the video below, all the participants will receive the Champions Blade & Armor portrayed above. It doesn’t look too shabby, does it?
