Game Worlds Reimagined as Books by A.J. Hateley

I love finding things like these, with my only lament usually being that it’s not something real that I can actually own. Designer and illustrator A.J. Hateley has created vintage book covers based on a variety of video games, and they’re simply outstanding. I particularly love the Shadow of the Colossus, Deadly Premonition and Portal ones. Hateley has a website and a Tumblr if you’re interested in seeing more, and you can actually buy some of these as prints on RedBubble, so rejoice and check out some more of the images in the gallery after the break.

John is what you might call something of a badass. When he's not writing about games or playing them, he's playing in the Kansas City band "Documentary" and drinking as many different beers as often as he can. He's a huge comic nerd in the best sense of the term, with a particular love for the Creator Owned movement.
