Gamer Claims to Have Received Xbox One Early, Shows Inside the (Full) Box

on November 8, 2013 5:00 PM

The release date of the Xbox One is drawing near, and it was only a matter of time before claims about consoles delivered early started to surface. And in fact it happened today, with Twitter user Connor John Cosgrove sharing with the world the pictures of what he says is his new console.

Cosgrove stated that he preordered the console online (without specifying at what retailer), and that he has no idea on why or how the console shown to his door this early.

Of course there’s no evidence at all that the console is an actual retail unit or maybe just a demo or test unit, so we’ll have to take this with a grain of salt, but whether Cosgrove’s allegations are true or not, there’s little doubt that what you can see above is the coveted inside of an Xbox One box.

At the very least, we can get a small taste of the next generation and dream of the moment in which we’ll see the same sight, after opening our own box. After all, who doesn’t want to see a box full of Xbox? Yes, I went there…

Below you can also see a second picture, with the box still closed.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
