Video games take a lot of heat. Public shootings, low test scores and poor personal hygiene seem to always be among the accusations from the industry’s detractors about the moral folly of waring polygons. In between attacks, it’s always nice to spread a little cheer whenever possible.
GamesAid, a self-described “UK based video games charity which acts as an umbrella to support a number of smaller charities who help disadvantaged and disabled children and young people,” has announced today that the sale of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle: Exquisite Edition was able to raise £686 on eBay.
A one of a kind production, the donated package from Bandai Namco, contained the full version of the game, original cover art and, most exquisite of all, a Swarovski figurine made out of 6000 Swarovski crystals.
No word on who made the purchase.
