Gamescom 2013: Bohemia Interactive Showcases DayZ Standalone Development in New Demo Video

Ever since DayZ took PC gamers by storm as a wildly-radical ARMA II mod, veterans of the game (and newcomers looking to jump in) have been just waiting eagerly as DayZ developer Bohemia Interactive has been working on a standalone edition of the game for PC and Steam.

Appearing during Gamescom this week in Germany, Bohemia Interactive’s Dean Hall showcased a demo of the game running in the standalone edition, showing improved visuals and also showing a few new gameplay features and weapons.
