on August 20, 2013 12:01 PM

EA announced a new Command & Conquer free to play game in development by Victory Games. The game features all of the action and strategy of previous titles, as demonstrated by the rather entertaining match between the developer and audience composed blue and green teams.

The plotline is as follows: in 2023 China dominated Asia-Pacific Alliance and has been the world’s foremost geopolitical power for nearly a decade. However they finds themselves challenged on all fronts by the upstart European Union and a newly reconstituted Global Liberation Army.

The new trailer revealed at Gamescom has been posted below. You can also apply for the beta here.
