If, like me, you love the Forza Motorsport franchise, but you're not as fond of Kinect, there's good news for you directly from the lion's mouth of  Creative Director Dan Greenawalt.

During a behind closed doors presentation at Gamescom Cologne, I noticed that Greenawalt wasn't really making use of Kinect at all, so it was only natural to ask him if Forza Motorsport 5 will be playable for those that prefer to remain Kinect-free.

Luckily the answer was brief but sweet: Yes, if you so decide you´ll be able to play and control the game without the Microsoft version of HAL 9000. Of  course you won´t be able to enjoy head tracking and voice recognition, but you´ll still be able to opt to play just with your controller.

All's well that ends well.
