It's been, oh, four years, since Minecraft was released to the gamers in Alpha development by Markus "Notch" Persson. Since then, it's been handled by Mojang and Jens "Jeb" Bergensten, released to PC, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, Xbx 360 (both digitally and through retail) and recently announced for the Xbox One. Finally, Sony has got their hands on the game, although when it will come out is anybody's guess.

So far it's been announced for the PS4, but whether PS3 and PS Vita support may follow is up for conjecture. For now, let's be happy that it's finally arrived to at least one PlayStation console.
