During the Microsoft conference in Germany at this week's Gamescom event, Ubisoft has announced more details regarding their upcoming next-gen title, The Division, a tactical open-world RPG-FPS, which will also feature unique content to Xbox One via Microsoft's SmartGlass.

After being originally announced at this year's E3, Ubisoft detailed that The Division will heavily feature second-screen functionality through SmartGlass and will include content exclusive to the Xbox One version of the game. In particular Ubisoft mentioned that the second-screen app/software for The Division will function alongside the game in real-time as players are in a match, but can also be played independently of the regular game at any time.

The Division is in development by Ubisoft Massive and will be released on Xbox One and PS4 in 2014.
