Gamestop Offering 30% Trade-in Bonus to Preorder a PS4

If you want to preorder a PS4 but you’re a little worried about the cost, GameStop wants to help you (and to have your money and stuff in exchange).

The retailer is sending out ads in the US to entice players to preorder Sony’s upcoming console, offering a 30% trade-in bonus to those that will let themselves be tempted. That’s a pretty sweet deal, considering that $399 may be “cheap” (at least according to Hideo Kojima), but it’s still a good slice of an average monthly salary. Every little bit helps.

Below you can see the ad itself, that implies that the promotion will run only for a limited time. At the moment of this writing the promotion still didn’t appear on the retailer’s website and we don’t have any news about similar promotions offered to preorder Xbox One.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
