GC 2012: New Total War: Rome 2 Screenshots Show the Battle in the Streets of Carthage

We didn’t see much of Total War: Rome 2 yet, but today The Creative Assembly released four new screenshots for Gamescom, showing us more of the Battle of Carthage (we already saw a couple pictures of it about a month ago).

The screenies are definitely impressive, showing the combatants at various ranges, from close-up to zoomed out, showcasing the rather fine details displayed by every single soldier. Considering that there’ll be thousands rendered on the battlefield, it’s hard not to be awed.

Can’t avoid being excited, after all it’s Total War, and considering how much the fans demanded a sequel of Rome, I can’t help but think that this one will definitely make quite a lot of people happy.
