GC 2012: Sony Announces Two New Games from Japan Studio: Puppeteer and Rain

on August 14, 2012 2:57 PM

During the final part of the conference at Gamescom 2012 Sony announced two upcoming games in development at Sony Japan Studio.

The first is Puppeteer, a game set in a magical theatre in which the player controls young boy searching for a way home, armed only with a magical pair of scissors. Incidentally it’s also rendered with an absolutely charming art style.

Rain is a platform adventure for the PSN that sees a boy waking up to see a girl’s silhouette in the rain and finding himself lost in a  mysterious world.

Looks like Sony Japan Studio has a thing for lost boys lately. You can check out the trailers of both games below.
