Gears of War Not Coming to PS3, Ever, No Matter What

Not all Xbox exclusive games remain that way forever. The Mass Effect series recently made its way to the PS3, but older examples of an Xbox only series losing exclusivity include Dead Rising and Ninja Gaiden. Gamers may wonder whether or not what is arguably the Xbox’s biggest exclusive series, Gears of War, would ever duck and sprint its way over to Sony’s console. Design Director Clifford Blezinski would like to assure us that our worry is misused on such a fancy, saying:

“there’s zero chance of Gears of War being on the PlayStation 3. Can we bury that now?”

We absolutely can Mr. Blezinski. All that I ask is that you’re actually telling the truth and Xbox fanboys actually don’t have to worry about that. Being a multi-console gamer, and generally not a rampant ignoramus, I was excited about the prospect of seeing the series on the PlayStation 3. At the same time though, I wasn’t actually a fan of the series or anything like that, so all I can really say is, oh well.
