Today, Geoff Keighley -- who you may know as the guy behind (and the host) of The Game Awards -- has announced E3 Coliseum.

According to Keighley, he is teaming up with E3 to bring the culture of games to life through two days of panels, conversations, talks and other surprises. That being said, for the past six months, he has been quietly working with E3 and all the major game teams to curate special presentations that will take place at The Novo at L.A. on Tuesday, June 13 and Wednesday, June 14. The sessions will also be livestreamed around the world, and you will supposedly be able to ask questions to the panelists via Facebook.

Alongside presentations from game developers, Keighley and E3 Coliseum will "also welcome some very special guests from the broader entertainment world." According to Keighley there will be a lot of surprises in store with this. More details will be shared "in the coming weeks" about the speaker lineup.

Keighley also revealed some of the major panels hosted by some of the world's biggest publishers, including: Bethesda, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Xbox, Gearbox Publishing, and Activision. Keighley has said more will be announced in the near future.

E3 2017 runs from June 13 to 15.
