Update: Atlus USA has released a video about the Club Nintendo deal, which is posted below for your convenience.

Nintendo and Atlus USA are offering an excellent promotion for fans who have pre-ordered or plan on purchasing Shin Megami Tensei IV–when you register both the former and Fire Emblem: Awakening with Club Nintendo, you get a $30 eShop credit.

The credit can be used for any sort of paid content on the 3DS, such as DLC and other games. All you have to do is register both games to the same Club Nintendo account, fill out a survey and then redeem your reward in the form of a 16-digit code that, when entered, will reward you with the credit. The offer starts on July 16th, ends on August 31st and you have until September 30th to redeem the code in the eShop.

This is great for me since I already own Fire Emblem: Awakening and pre-ordered Shin Megami Tensei IV. Now, where did I put my Awakening case….
