One of the best parts of Halo 3 was being able to design your own multiplayer maps, and players have been making great things with it the past few years. So of course Halo 4 would have to include a forge mode as well. At yesterday’s Rooster Teeth Expo, forge developer Certain Affinity showed off a first look at Halo 4’s new and expanded forge mode.
The new forge engine will have some goodies like the ability to control lighting and shadows for maps, as well as the ability to lock down objects, preventing them from being pushed around. Duplication will supposedly be made easier, and there’s even talk of an undo feature that could be added to the forge in the future. Take a look for yourself at the screenshots from the Expo.
