Skyrim and Minecraft: a match made in gamers-wanting-to-waste-time-for-eternity Heaven. Luckily, with Bethesda and Mojang teaming together for a mash-up DLC pack for the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft, that dream is now a block-building, dragon-slaying reality.

During this weekend's Minecon 2013 celebrations, the new content pack was revealed by Bethesda and Mojang as a collaborative effort to bring the two hugely popular gaming entities together. As the new DLC is currently in development by 4J Studios, the companies said The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Mash-Up Pack will be "coming soon" and will come packed with new textures and character skins to bring over the world of Skyrim onto Minecraft, including new UI options and a selection of music from the original game soundtrack.

While the pack does not currently have an announced release date, attendees of this weekend's Minecon 2013 in Orlando, Florida will have the chance to test out the new content pack...and to become the Minecraft Dragonborn.
