Get Your Guns Ready: Call of Duty Championship 2014 Coming in March

on January 10, 2014 7:45 PM

Love Call of Duty? Of course you, everyone seems to. But are you good enough to compete in it?

This year, the Call of Duty Championship is back, presented by Xbox, and calling teams from all over the world to fight bullet to bullet from March 28th to the 30th. The best 32 teams that qualify from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia (and representing over 15 countries) will compete live at the tournament’s Los Angeles, California venue.

But what is a tournament without a worthy prize? The title of World Champion comes not just with bragging rights, but a mighty fine $1,000,000 prize pool split however many ways your team is divided. The Championship will be broadcast live via Xbox Live and MLG.tv, starting with online qualifiers, and leading to the LAN-based regional finals hosted by MLG, Gfinity and ACL.

Now I kind of wish I had time to play Call of Duty all day like most everyone else in the world. Sigh.

Learn more about the championship and how to qualify at CallOfDuty.com/eSports and good luck!
