A few days ago, Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed the new Gintama action game code named "Gintama Project Last Game," and today they announced the release for the South-East Asian market.

The game will be released in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia exclusively for PS4. This means that it'll skip the PS Vita release announced only for Japan.

On the other hand, there is good news for those who don't want to wait for a possible western release, as the game will get English subtitles in Asia, paired with the original Japanese voice overs. another positive element is the fact that the launch will come in both digital and physical forms.

The game is based on the popular shonen manga series Gintama by Hideaki Sorachi, currently serialized on Shonen Jump.

The series has been going on since 2003, and has been turned into an anime that includes over 300 episodes, which debuted back in 2006. It’sone of the most popular shonen franchises in Japan, standing side-by-side with giant titles like Dragon Ball, Bleach and Naruto. It was also adapted into multiple feature films (including a live action one) and OVA releases for the home video market.

Alongside the announcement, we get the subtitled version of the original teaser trailer, featuring characters Gintoki Sakada, Shinpachi Shimura and Kagura.

You can check it out below. At the moment there is no release window, and no word about a western localization.
