Go Inside Shigeru Miyamoto’s Design Philosophy in New Interview

Vox has conducted a video interview with legendary Mario developer Shigeru Miyamoto and today shared it.

The video presents an interesting watch for developers, aspiring developers and fans as Miyamoto-san shares some of his thoughts on game design. For example, he believes a game should always offer a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction upon success. He also describes the importance of conveying the object of a game to the player, for instance, always moving right the original Mario games.
