Go Wild in Africa Tomorrow

on October 26, 2009 10:42 PM

EA Play releases SimAnimals Africa tomorrow for Nintendo Wii and DS. The games will be priced at 39.99 and 29.99 respectively, which I find odd. Why is the DS game full-priced and the Wii version isn’t? I smell a big case of “same game just different system” here. So the game will allow players to tame animals such as lions, rhinos, zebras, gorillas and elephants in their natural African habitats. Habitats include the jungle, deserts, savannas, river deltas and more. The game will be very much about interactivity by directly interacting with the animals and interacting with the environment. Mini-games will also expand the experience to let players grow a little closer to their new virtual pet friends.

The DS version will have exclusive animals such as cheetahs, meerkats, aardvarks and parrots. Use of the stylus and microphone is promised for the DS version, as well as co-op modes for those ready to link up. Remember both versions will be available tomorrow and enjoy the screen shots below.
