If you were waiting eagerly for God Eater 2: Rage Burst and God Eater: Resurrection on PS4 and PS Vita, Bandai Namco finally announced the release dates by way of Producer Yosuke Tomizawa during a dedicated event that DualShockers attended.

Both games will release in Europe on August 30th. For North america they have different release dates: God Eater 2: Rage Burst will launch on August 30th, while God Eater: Resurrection will release on June 28th.

Interestingly, Bandai Namco wants players to be able to play both games, so they came up with a very convenient promotion.

In North America if you buy the Day-One edition of God Eater 2: Rage Burst you’ll receive a free digital copy of God Eater: Resurrection. Also, if you digitally pre-order God Eater 2 Rage Burst through on the PSN, you’ll automatically get Resurrection as well.

In Europe, it'll work slightly different. All copies of God Eater 2: Rage Burst will include a free digital copy of God Eater: Resurrection.

According to Tomizawa-san the two games combined offer over a hundred hours of gameplay within the story mode alone, plus multiplayer and more. Voice overs will be in English, with subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Russian.

As pre-order bonuses Bandai Namco is also offering crossover DLCs featuring costumes from the Tales Of franchise, Sword Art Online and Tokyo Ghoul.

All the updates released in Japan will also be included from day one in the western version of the game.
