Today Kadokawa Games announced with a press release that its upcoming game God Wars: Future Past will be delayed to Spring 2017 in Japan.

The game was supposed to launch locally on February 23rd, but now we'll have to wait for a new release date.

The press release mentioned the reason behind the postponement, explaining that after receiving comments from those who tried the demo improvement is needed in order to release a game that can be played more comfortably, and the team feels that they need more time to work on it.

Moreover, the developers want to improve the pace of the game, adjust difficulty, and improve the camera system and the interface, that proved confusing for some users.

At the moment we don't know if the delay in Japan will affect the release schedule of the western version, which was scheduled for "early 2017" by NIS America. While we wait for more info, you can check out the latest teaser trailer.
