Google Opens Chrome Web Store

Google has taken another step towards their eventual complete takeover of the internet today by opening a web store for their Chrome browser. The store is already stocked with over 200 games with support from EA, Namco, Zynga, Digital Chocolate and many more. Games are divided into several categories, and the store already features Plants vs Zombies, Farmville, War of Legends, FIFA Superstars just to name a few. The Chrome web store is HTML5 based and sits on top of Chrome as an extension, and can be found here.

Everything Google touches tends to be better than it’s competitors, so those of you out there using Chrome; how do you feel about this? Chrome doesn’t support my current OS but I’ll check it out myself when I get a chance.

John is what you might call something of a badass. When he's not writing about games or playing them, he's playing in the Kansas City band "Documentary" and drinking as many different beers as often as he can. He's a huge comic nerd in the best sense of the term, with a particular love for the Creator Owned movement.
