Gorgeous BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Screenshots Released

on October 3, 2012 7:00 PM

Famitsu has been kind enough to share a gigantic batch of glittery new screenshots showing off Arc System Works’ upcoming anime fighter BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma. These shots show off some of the fascinating new overdrive attacks that will be in the game. Noel looks freaking awesome and Amane is transforming characters into…puppies?

The developers have also shared a detail about the new and improved beginner mode. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger was one of the first new technical fighters to implement a control scheme for genre newcomers. Chrono Phantasma will take that mode further by adding an auto-guard feature and a refined way to quickly and easily access special attacks and distortion drive attacks. Furthermore, beginner mode will now be referred to as ‘stylish mode’.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma will hit Japanese arcades later this year and is confirmed for a Japanese PS3 release. Check out those fancy new screenshots below.
