Rise of Tomb Raider was shown off at Microsoft’s Gamescom presentation in a series of lovely screenshots that showcased Lara Croft wielding her bow and arrow, as well as scenery from the game.

While there was no gameplay footage shown, Microsoft did drop a bomb on us: Rise of Tomb Raider will be an Xbox exclusive upon release. No word yet on whether it will be a timed exclusive or a more permanent one.

Update: The official blog post from Crystal Dynamics confirmed that Rise of Tomb Raider will not be a timed exclusive, but instead a permanent one. PS4 and PC gamers will be getting Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris in December and currently on PS4 is Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition.
