The release plans for Grand Kingdom for North America and Europe have undergone some changes, as detailed by NIS America in a blog post.
First the physical release date for North American versions of Grand Kingdom has been delayed by one week, from the original date of June 21, 2016 to June 28, 2016. However, the digital version is unchanged and will still be coming out on June 21st. The explanation for the delay is, “due to a mix-up in our packing facility which requires disassembling and reassembling the product.” The free period for the launch DLC Lord’s Set has been extended to July 28 in North America due to this delay.
For those in Europe who purchased the Limited Edition of Grand Kingdom will be receiving a 5-track soundtrack sampler CD labelled “First Call.” You will be able to exchange the CD for the correct 15-track soundtrack, “Call to Arms,” by accessing the replacement disc website. The release date for the European version remains unchanged and will still be released on June 17, 2016. Those who purchased the game through the NIS Europe Online Store won’t have to worry as they are fixing it for each order. The Lord’s Set launch DLC will remain free until July 17 due to this error.
Lastly, the PlayStation 4 LiteDemo for Grand Kingdom won’t be available for download until the launch of the game, “due to a unforeseen technical issue with the preorder.” You can still play the demo on PlayStation Vita in both North America and Europe.
We are very sorry for this mistake, and are working with our packing facility to ensure that a new process is in place to detect any similar issues in the future before they could potentially affect our customers.
