Today, localization studio of the hour, XSEED, announced that they'll be bringing Grand Knights History over to North America. This RPG from Vanillaware is of the 2D variety (in more ways than one), but features the same graphical style of other titles from that developer, like Odin Sphere, for example.

The story takes place in the realm of Listia, which is, naturally, plagued by conflict as three nations are vying for power. As the player, you get to choose which nation to side with. Aside from that story-based customization, there is a gamut of other features that are sure to please customization junkies like myself - you can customize your characters, their appearance, armor, weapons, class, sub-class and many other things.

It will be released "this winter" in both physical UMD format and as a digital title on the PlayStation Store. At the end of their press release, XSEED gave a note to Europe, as well, saying the game will be published by Rising Star Games in that region. I'm certainly looking forward to this one. Are you? The PSP continues to impress in the realm of the JRPG.
