Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Arrives on Windows Phone for Portable Mayhem

on January 28, 2014 7:16 AM

During the PS2-era, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was one of the most acclaimed (and at the time, one of the most controversial) titles of the generation – and deservedly so. Luckily, if you missed out on playing through the title back in the day, you can get that chance on the go, if you happen to have a Windows phone.

After previously being released on iOS and Android in a mobile port, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has now been released onto Windows Phone and is available on the Windows Phone Store for $6.99.

While the game is available to download freely, the only consideration is that due to the game’s high memory requirements, the game is only supported by Nokia Lumia phones (1520, 1320, 822, 820, 810 models) or by HTC 8XT smartphones, and also requires over 2.5GB of space to install – keep these in mind for you interested Windows Phone gamers.
