Grand Theft Auto V Tops UK Game Charts a Whopping 150 Weeks After Launch

on August 8, 2016 8:00 AM

GTA V continues to sells ridiculously well, even three years after its initial release. This week it takes the No.1 spot on the UK video game charts 150 weeks after its initial release, topping Uncharted 4, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Overwatch.

Uncharted 4 remains comfortably in the No.2 spot, while LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens falls just short of 6 weeks in the No.1 spot down to third place. Overwatch sits in fourth, while rather surprisingly, The Division creeps up from 21st to 11th place.

Grand Theft Auto V’s sudden sales surge is most likely due to the recent released of the Cunning Stunts update for GTA Online that introduced loop-de-loops, colored tubes with obstacles, rings of fire, and more.
