Last week, those who missed out on purchasing the Season Pass for The Last of Us were in for a nice surprise as the game's extensive making-of documentary, Grounded: The Making of The Last of Us, was released through Amazon Instant, free of charge - a great price for an even more amazing documentary.

Since then, Sony has now published the full documentary on its official "sonyplaystation" YouTube channel, with the feature now available to view completely free of charge. Produced by video production company AREA 5 in San Francisco and originally released as part of the game's Season Pass, Grounded takes a comprehensive look at The Last of Us from the ground up, looking at its early pre-production phase and concepts, to reflections by the cast and creative team on where Naughty Dog's vision of the apocalypse could be both beautiful, and horrifying.
